Get out of the echo chamber

Out of My Own Bubble is a new podcast developed by San Francisco native LiAnne Yu. Each episode focuses on a story that gets LiAnne out of her deep blue world of heirloom tomato eating, MSNBC watching, Tesla driving, West Coast techies and champagne socialists. Whether it’s an off the grid farming co-op in the jungles of Hawaii, an all-white Trump supporting town in the Ozarks, or an indigenous group that believes a mountain has spoken to them, she approaches these conversations with respect, humor and a playful curiosity. And she gets to test exactly how open minded left coast liberalism really is.

OOMOB is dedicated to engaging with people we NPR listening limousine liberals often talk about, but rarely actually talk to.
